We are currently seeking knowledgeable and experienced candidates to fill the following positions:

Sales - Mortgage Loan Originators

Mid-Island Mortgage Loan Originators are responsible for increasing their mortgage loan portfolio by continually developing and maintaining business relationships and attracting new applications from company supplied leads, a network of Real Estate professionals, as well as, personal and professional contacts.

Job requirements include:

  •          Must be state approved through NMLS.  Please include your NMLS ID number with your application. 
  •          A minimum of 2 years experience as a mortgage loan originator with an established network of referral business.
  •          Demonstrated success in prospecting, generating leads, closing business and consistently meeting/exceeding production goals.
  •          Demonstrated knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices and regulatory guidelines.
  •          Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  •          Professional and effective interpersonal skills.
  •          Exceptional customer service skills.
  •          Strong computer skills including MS Office applications.

Operations Professionals

For the following positions, the ideal candidate will be oriented toward a deal driven environment and capable of managing multiple transactions simultaneously under tight time pressure. Additionally, the candidate will be able to work full-time at our Westbury, New York corporate office.  Not hiring remote operations personnel at this time.

Mortgage Processors
In this position, you will work in partnership with our customers, mortgage professionals and underwriting team to complete mortgage loan applications.

Job requirements include:

  •          A minimum of 5 years experience processing loan applications
  •          Has a foundation in credit analysis and exposure to lending products
  •          Knowledge of FHA products
  •          Knowledge of all federal and state regulations
  •          Ability to work independently and be a team player
  •          Ability to work with all levels of the company
  •          Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •          Strong attention to details
  •          Must be proactive and reliable
  •          Excellent customer service skills
  •          Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

Mortgage Underwriters

In this position, you will work in partnership with our customers, mortgage professionals and processing teams to ensure mortgage loan applications meet program/product specifications.

Job requirements include:

  •          FHA DE Designation required (CHUMS#)
  •          A minimum of 3 years FHA Underwriting experience as a DE
  •          Thorough knowledge and understanding of all federal and state guidelines
  •          Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and government regulations
  •          Superior internal and external customer service skills
  •          Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  •          Exceptional organizational skills
  •          Ability to work independently and be a team player
  •          Ability to work with all levels of the company
  •          Exceptional attention to details
  •          Must be proactive and reliable
  •          Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office 

IT Support Specialist

In this position, you will provide technical assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail and operating systems to all Mid-Island employees.  

Job requirements include:

  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software.
  • Creates and maintains all user accounts in Active Directory and third party websites.
  • Answer users' inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems.
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Develops and maintains training materials and procedures, as well as, provides training to users in the proper use of hardware or software.
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and provide quality customer service.
  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors for service.
  • Oversees the daily performance of computer systems and peripheral equipment.
  • Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.
  • Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades.
  • Improves existing programs by reviewing objectives and specifications; evaluating proposed changes; recommending changes; making modifications.
  • Runs and distributes reports as needed.
  • Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by management
