David Goldberg is Mid-Island Mortgage’s Vice President of Sales based in the company Westbury, NY, headquarters office. He oversees Mid-Island’s team of loan officers, including recruitment, as well as direct client loan origination.

Mr. Goldberg has 16 years of residential mortgage banking experience. During his career, he has demonstrated a unique ability to navigate the rapid changes in the home financing market, while consistently delivering for both his sales team and consumer client base amid diverse market conditions. For his sales team, he imparts upon them critical knowledge of proven loan origination tactics and sources of business while actively supporting and investing in their individual success at every juncture. When it comes to his sales team members, his first priority is to ensure they have every resource available to deliver the right loan for their clients on an easy and efficient basis. For clients, he leverages his deep financial market expertise in order to provide a custom loan solution with market-leading terms deal after deal.

Mr. Goldberg began his career at Sterling National Bank as an Assistant Vice President managing the daily activities of the non-confirming division that was closing more than $30 million in loans on a monthly basis. Following Sterling, he took on several other senior-level residential mortgage roles at major New York mortgage banking institutions until his arrival at Mid-Island Mortgage in 2011. At the time, Mid-Island Mortgage Corp. demonstrated a strong level of stability when many bankers and lenders were trying to survive and recover from the housing and economic downturn. Since his arrival, Mid-Island has continued to exhibit a singular level of stability within the constantly evolving home mortgage market. In support of the company’s strength in both lending and customer service, Mr. Goldberg has continued to add key contributors to the sales team, helping fortify the company’s business.

Mr. Goldberg graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in business management and finance from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus in Brookville, NY.
